Using the correct materials is as important to me as is looking after your guitars. I've spent years working with various timber yards from around the UK, to find the best quality, ethically sourced materials.

All of the hardwoods I use are sourced from one of three UK lumber yards:

HARDWARE
All hardware comes from Ironmongery Direct, one of the UK's leading suppliers of cabinetry hardware.
They offer a large range of styles, colours and finishes to suit all styles and aesthetics.
FINISHES & PAINT
As a standard, I use hardwax oil finishes for all furniture and boards. These create a stunning contrast in the wood grain, and have a high level of protection compared to other wipe-on finishes. Though they are high VOC when applying, once cursed, they offer no concern to all guitar finishes.
For paint, I use Earthborn eco-friendly eggshell. This is virtually VOC free, water-based and durable. Designed for living, it stands up to life once fully cured.
